Totally loving Daisy Dalrymple! This is third in the series and I am infatuated with Detective Chief Inspector Alec. The Honourable Daisy is a delightful busy-body who manages to always say the ladylike thing despite being utterly humble, working for a living and fraternizing with the lower classes which is simply taboo. Each recurring character is endearing and holds a twinge of excitement. The books are suspenseful and interesting and perfect light reading for the murder mystery enthusiast. I highly recommend this series!
